*This Monday* May 1st is the Last Day to Register to Vote

On May 16th, we have an opportunity to vote for candidates who make decisions about school jobs and school quality.

If Washington, D.C., has its way, we will see massive cuts to education. We need LAUSD School Board Members who will do everything possible to keep cuts away from the classroom and student services.

In March, we voted in Primary Elections for LAUSD School Board candidates. In the May 16th Runoff Election, voters will make final decisions on who will help run our schools.

These are the leaders who make decisions that affect the quality of the schools where many SEIU Local 99 members work and many of our children attend. Let’s support candidates who work to improve graduation rates, make sure all students have access to a quality eduction, and ensure that school jobs are good jobs.
