SEIU Local 99 members packed the LACCD Board of Trustees meeting on October 8 and sent a strong message to the District that we’re united for a fair contract and ready for real movement at the bargaining table – now!
We presented the Board with a booklet of stories highlighting our commitment to students and contributions to the colleges. And we urged the Board to take an active role in making sure we have fair compensation, adequate supplies, access to the proper equipment, opportunities for training and advancement, and adequate staffing. We definitely made our voices heard just days before we head back to the bargaining table on October 10. Stay tuned… |
