In our new contract with LAUSD, Local 99 members agreed to work with the District to pilot a new job evaluation system. Local 99 members will be able to participate in the pilot on a voluntary basis during work hours. All member volunteers completing the pilot program will receive a one-time payment of $200.00.
Participation in the pilot is voluntary and will not count as your actual evaluation for the year. Please note that in order to participate in this pilot you must have passed the probation period in your position by October 2014. Additional priority will be given to those with at least 2 years with the District, and in their classification.
UPDATE: At Local 99’s request, the District has added another extension to the sign-up deadline. The new deadline to sign-up to register for this program is October 31, 2014. Even if you did not attend an informational meeting, you can still submit your sign-up form. Click Here for a Sign-Up Form.
!!!!! Supervisors are required to participate in this program if Local 99 members are interested and have submitted their participation request by the 10/31 deadline. If an administrator tells you they will not participate please call the Member Resource Center for assistance at 213-637-0296.
As part of our contract agreement, Local 99 members’ recommendations on the new evaluation program will be considered and the District will meet with Local 99 to agree on any changes to the evaluation program before it is implemented District-wide. This is our opportunity to ensure fair and consistent job evaluations at LAUSD.
