As you probably know by now, we completed the “Listening Sessions” at our worksites, tabulated everyone’s priorities and submitted our proposals to the LAUSD School Board earlier this week.
This officially launches our contract campaign with the District as we fight to make some real changes to our wages and real improvements at our schools.
As a steward, you are key to helping mobilize SEIU Local 99 members at your worksite to join our Fight for Fifteen! Come to our upcoming LAUSD Steward Council Meeting, Thursday, May 22nd from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., as we strategize for ways to support our Bargaining Team members.
