Our Bargaining Team for contract re-opener negotiations with LAUSD is now in place. Elections were held November 13 -18 to fill vacancies in two Unit B job classifications (Special Education: School Based and Early Education). Voting took place in all three Local 99 offices. Votes were counted in our Los Angeles Office on November 19 by SEIU Local 99 Executive Board delegates representing LAUSD classifications. Here are the results:

Let’s support our team as they head to be bargaining table with the District. Contract re-opener negotiations are expected to start early next year. Later, in the spring of 2014, we will begin negotiations for our full contract. Next year we will conduct elections for the bargaining team that will negotiate our full contract. Stay tuned!
