Updates from December 15, 2015:

Due to a “credible threat” to various schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District, all schools are closed today, Tuesday, December 15. Our foremost concern is for the safety of all students. Members with questions or concerns should contact LAUSD at 213-241-2064 or your immediate supervisor.

SEIU Local 99  members should not report to school sites today, until notified. The investigation is ongoing and official information will be provided to you through the District’s email system. Also, please continue to check SEIU Local 99’s website for further updates. We are working with LAUSD and will provide you with new information as it becomes available.

Be aware that no one, except Plant Managers looking for suspicious objects, are to enter the schools, until otherwise indicated by the District.  Principals and Assistant Principals will be at school sites at the reunion gates. Police are searching every school in the District and will determine when each site is clear to enter. The District is issuing updates throughout the day, please check back for the latest information.
