Midnight Ride to Sacramento: Join the Rally April 28 10pm

Thank you to all the SEIU Local 99 members who are joining the Midnight Ride to Sacramento to speak out for summer unemployment insurance for school workers and increasing access to quality child care.

Thanks to your overwhelming participation buses are full. But even if you can’t make the trip, come out and show your support and send-off our fellow Local 99 members during a rally:

For SEIU Local 99 members joining the Midnight Ride to Sacramento …

Meet at the SEIU Local 99 Downtown office (2724 W. 8th St., Los Angeles 90005) at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28. Parking at the Local 99 office is very limited. If possible, please get dropped off at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28.

After our rally, we will board the buses and depart at midnight.

For those of you coming from the San Fernando Valley, you have the option of meeting us at 12:30 a.m. at the Denny’s at 12861 Encinitas Ave., Sylmar, CA 91342. If you want to be picked up here, please let Caroline Mello know: cmello@seiu99.org.

For those of you in the Antelope Valley, please be at the City of Lancaster Park and Ride, 43011 10th St. West Lancaster, 93534, at 1:15 a.m. If you want to be picked up here, please let Caroline Mello know: cmello@seiu99.org.

We will arrive in Sacramento early on Wednesday, April 29, and meet with legislators during the day. All meals will be provided.

We will stop for dinner on the way home and return to the SEIU Local 99 office around 11 p.m. on April 29.

— Bring a toiletry kit if desired. —

— Make yourself at home…some folks bring a small pillow and small blanket. —
