It’s time for the District’s 2015 Annual Classified Survey

LACCD’s Personnel Commission is holding its yearly review of the work that we do and how it matches our job titles. This is one opportunity to ensure that we are not being asked to perform duties outside of our job classification. This review process does not prevent us from requesting classification studies. It also does not prevent employees from submitting claims for temporary work out of our classification, if properly reimbursed.

Here’s a copy of the survey and more information from the District’s Personnel Commission. The Commission requests that all employees complete and respond by April 30, 2015. After you’ve filled out your survey, you can email it to Castrort@email.laccd.edu.

We encourage Local 99 members to take advantage of this process. It is just one of the ways that we guard against our employer giving us duties outside of our job description.

If you have concerns that arise as you fill out your survey or you feel that you are working out of classification, please keep an extra copy of your completed survey for your own records and contact your Union Steward or Diva Sanchez at (213) 220-8749, dsanchez@seiu99.org.
