Our contracts with the Los Angeles Unified School District establish Labor Management Committees that allow members to work directly with District administrators to address and resolve workplace issues. Labor Management Committees give us the opportunity to sit down regularly with LAUSD to address the issues that directly impact our working conditions and the delivery of services to students.
SEIU Local 99 members are elected to serve on these committees for a three year term. Only members in good standing may run for a committee seat, sign nomination petitions, or vote for members that are assigned to their division/ classification for Labor Management Committee
