Join with other cafeteria workers as we get ready for our Next Labor Management meeting with top Food Services staff at LAUSD Headquarters.

Tuesday, April 4
3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

We will hold the District to the commitments they made at our last Labor Management meeting. They agreed:

  • …to expand the District’s training program for both management and cafeteria staff to encourage better and more respectful communication;
  • that there should not be any favoritism. Managers should not be comparing one employee against another;
  • that we have a right to privacy if a supervisor expresses a concern or a need for improvement;
  • that frivolous “incident logs” used to intimidate staff are not productive; and
  • that the workload should be equitably shared.

Now we have to hold them to it! We will no longer accept their reminder that “there’s a form for that!”

Please READ CAREFULLY to fully participate:

  1. If you have filled out a paper version of the petition, be sure to bring it so that we can deliver it to the District at this meeting.
  2. Staple any additional statement you wish to make to the petition and bring it with you.
  3. If you filled out the petition online, we will print a copy for you.

Responsabilizaremos al Distrito con los compromisos que hicieron en nuestra última reunión Laboral Patronal. Ellos acordaron:

  • … expandir el programa de capacitación del Distrito para el personal de administración y cafetería para fomentar una comunicación mejor y más respetuosa;
  • que no debe haber ningún favoritismo. Los supervisores no deben comparar a un empleado con otro;
  • que tenemos un derecho a la privacidad si un supervisor nos expresa una preocupación o una necesidad de mejorar nuestro trabajo ;
  • que los frívolos “registros de incidentes” utilizados para intimidar a los trabajadores no son productivos; y
  • que la carga de trabajo debe ser equitativamente compartida.

¡Ahora tenemos que asegurar que cumplan con esto! Ya no aceptaremos su recordatorio de que “¡hay una forma para eso!” que tenemos que llenar.

LEA CUIDADOSAMENTE para participar plenamente:

  1. Si ha llenado la petición en una forma de papel, asegúrese de traer la  forma para que podamos entregársela al Distrito durante nuestra reunión.
  2. Grape cualquier declaración adicional que desee hacer a la petición y tráigala con usted.
