National Day of Action: Nov. 29 – Stand United for Good Jobs, Quality Education, Health Care for All

Join us Tuesday November 29th for SEIU’s National Day of Action!

Meet at 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Airport Blvd. and Century Blvd. by LAX airport.

Or catch the bus at 9am from SEIU Local 99’s Main Office at 2714 W. 8th St. Los Angeles, CA 90005

Together with other SEIU Local 99 members, members of our sister unions across the L.A. area, fast food and other low-wage workers who don’t have a union and other community partners, we will rally and march for…

The things we ALL believe in:

  • Quality education for all children…and it starts with quality early care and education
  • Good wages…they are simply too low for too many of us; we can’t support ourselves or our
  •  families
  • Racism, sexism, ableism and all other “isms” have no place in our communities
  • Freedom…to have a voice on the job…of the press…to protest peacefully…of religion…is what makes America great
  • Clean water and clean air no matter what neighborhood you live in
  • Anyone who works hard all their life should be able to retire with dignity
  • Quality, affordable healthcare

We stand with the 64 million hardworking Americans that make far too little to live. We reject the politics of divisiveness that tears America apart by race, religion, ethnicity and gender.

We say unequivocally – any efforts to block wage increases, gut workers’ rights, deport immigrants, or support racism or racist policies, will be met with unrelenting opposition.

We won’t back down.
