National Day of Action: Tuesday November 29

Join us on November 29th for SEIU’s National Day of Action!
Meet at 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Airport Blvd. and Century Blvd. by LAX airport.

We accomplished some great things for California in this past election.  As a result of all our work, California’s education budget was protected from a return to cuts and will see billions of dollars of additional funding.

But a lot of what we just won is at risk. There is already a lot of talk in Washington, D.C., of cutting funding for education, healthcare and more.

Together with other SEIU Local 99 members, members of our sister unions across the L.A. area, fast food and other low-wage workers who don’t have a union and other community partners, we will rally and march for…

The things we ALL believe in:
• Quality education for all children…and it starts with quality early care and education
• Good wages…they are simply too low for too many of us; we can’t support ourselves or our families
• Racism, sexism, ableism and all other “isms” have no place in our communities
• Freedom…to have a voice on the job…of the press…to protest peacefully…of religion…is what makes America great
• Clean water and clean air no matter what neighborhood you live in
• Anyone who works hard all their life should be able to retire with dignity
• Quality, affordable healthcare
