UPDATE ON ATTENDANCE POLICY BARGAINING: We’re Making Progress … But We’re Not There Yet.
Our Special Education Attendance Policy Bargaining Team met with LAUSD on October 7 to continue negotiations over the new attendance policy that the District introduced at the start of the school year. This policy specifically targets Special Education Paraprofessionals. The good news is that the District agreed to many of our demands — but there’s still more to do. Negotiations are not over and we need to continue to stand strong. Come to an Emergency Meeting and get the latest update on the progress of our negotiations – and what we still have left to do. We’ve come this far because the District knows we are united – let’s keep moving forward!
