Members working in Transportation came together over the summer to study their contract and strategize on how to address worksite issues. Together with members elected to head the Transportation Labor Management Committee, they created a sub-committee that will plan on the best ways to tackle problems on the job. Some key issues they plan to bring to management include:
?Working in higher classifications with no pay differential
?Bus/Truck Driver fall bid
?Pro-rated accruals based on hours worked
?In-House bidding of open positions before hiring from outside
?Sub-Contracting of our jobs
?Seniority rights
