Making Our Voices Heard in LAUSD School Board Election

SEIU Local 99 members took on greater leadership in the LAUSD School Board Election on May 19 to help make the voices of classified school workers heard in our communities.  Increased participation in voter outreach efforts in the month leading up to election day meant we reached thousands of voters to let them know about the important role of Local 99 members in student learning. As we move forward and begin to work with new school board members, let’s continue to stand strong for quality schools in our communities and good jobs for our families.
