How can we ensure the best possible outcome to our negotiations?
By making sure we come to the bargaining table knowing our rights, knowing our current contract and knowing what we want to improve!
We’ll start now to ensure we’re ready to push for the improvements we know we need at Lynwood!
- We elected our Bargaining Team (click for details). These are our co-workers who sit across the table from the District to negotiate our next contract.
- We are holding meetings at every worksite to begin brainstorming together about what we want our new contract to look like.
- We are holding weekly “Know your contract!” trainings at the SEIU Local 99 Lynwood Office. Click here for details. There’s no better way to begin thinking about what we want to see in our next contract than to know our current one inside and out!
- Our Bargaining Team is collecting Bargaining Surveys (make sure you’ve filled one out!) to continue identifying our contract bargaining priorities.
- Finally, we’ll show our solidarity every Tuesday by wearing our Purple T-Shirts. This way, we’ll let the District know we’re serious about creating…
