Anthony Bradshaw, a Warehouse Worker for the Nutritional Services Department, has been getting more involved as a union member ever since he went from being a temporary employee to full-time permanent.
“Thank you, Union!” says Anthony about this change to his status.
His first union event was to talk to voters about electing Tom Torlakson as State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
“Politics is very important—especially since we work at a government job where different policies and different laws can affect my job,” he says. “I plan to keep this job for a long time, so that’s why it’s important to me to be involved in politics and elect candidates who support working people.”
