SEIU Local 99 was proud to participate in Compton’s Walk for Cure on October 11 to raise awareness about breast cancer. And our Social, Economic and Global Justice Committee led our team in AIDS Walk LA on October 12 in support of organizations that provide services to people living with AIDS. Our participation in these events is all part of our mission of reaching out to our communities to seek improvements that benefit everyone. As our mission statement says, “… we have a moral responsibility to future generations to leave the world a better place for all who come after us.”
