We know that families are connected to schools more than any other organization in our local communities. And when it comes to sensitive issues, like immigration, families are more likely to seek help and support in their neighborhood schools. That’s why SEIU Local 99 has joined with the DACA100 Taskforce to support immigration services for current and former LAUSD students applying for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Several clinics are being held in schools throughout the District and volunteers are needed. Training will be provided. Upcoming workshops are being held at the following locations:
