We won pay increases in our new strong contract, including a $15 minimum wage and raises for everyone earning more than $15.
The District reports that the first phase (an $11 minimum wage and a 2% increase for those currently earning more than $11) is anticipated to appear on our August 23, 2014, paychecks for semi-monthly classified employees; August 30, 2014, for classified employees; and September 5, 2014, for certificated employees.
These checks will include a July retro-payment for those who worked during July.
