These one-time, free, emergency funds are available for Local 99 members in urgent need. In order to qualify, you must have received a Three Day Notice to Pay Rent or Quit, or a similar notice from your landlord. Also, this financial assistance must solve your emergency. You must be able to continue paying the rent in future months.
These funds are available to SEIU Local 99 members through the union’s partnership with the Los Angeles County Labor Community Services program. But funds are limited. We urge you to contact SEIU Local 99’s Member Resource Center at 213-637-0296 as soon as possible to obtain a referral for emergency rental assistance.
