Our jobs at LAUSD have been under attack over the past few years. But we will soon have the opportunity to make some real changes. After years of cuts, our schools will finally see more money as a result of Proposition 30. This spring we’ll be negotiating a full contract with LAUSD that will impact our livelihoods for the next several years.
A lot is at stake and we want to hear from every Local 99 member at LAUSD about what you want to see in our next full contract. We’re scheduling meetings we’re calling “Listening Sessions” at selected worksites to make sure every Local 99 member has a say on our contract proposals. Come tell us what’s most important to you. Our bargaining team will prepare our contract proposals based on the priorities members identify at these Listening Sessions. Check out the schedule of Listening Sessions below.
