We met again in December with top decision makers at the California Department of Education (CDE).
Providers made sure CDE officials were aware that some agencies are not complying with the recent Management Bulletins regarding timely provider reimbursements.
This highlights how important it is to win bargaining rights with the state. We must win the ability to have timely reimbursements guaranteed in writing in our contract!
In the meantime, we are working with CDE to enforce these Management Bulletin recommendations by developing accompanying regulations.
